Noch neu auf der Oktoberfest Wiedergabeliste, Schatzi schenk mir Ein Foto stammt eigentlich aus den Niederlanden.
Die niederländische Version "Schatje, mag ik je foto" war ein Nummer Eins Hit zu Hause. Weil den lebhaft, kokette Texte und eingängige Melodie perfekte für den Strand / Après-Ski / Wiesn sind, es dauerte natürlich nicht so lange, bis jemand nimmt eine deutsche Version auf.

Zuerst kamen Sänger Volker Racho und DJ Armin Koch, beide Musiker bekannt um Mallorca –Ballaman.
Racho und Koch haben das Song auf deutsch im Dezember 2009 aufgenommen, aber Schatzi hebtnicht richtig ab, bis es aufgenommen und veröffentlicht von Mickie Krause im Jahr 2010 wurde.

Die Krause-Version wurde zur "Wiesn Hit" des Jahres 2011 und es erreichte Nr.27 auf dem deutschen Pop-Charts.
Alles in allem Schatzi ist ein enprägsamer Hit, der garantiert ist, die Bierbänke in Schwung bringen wird.
